I was born and raised in Georgia. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Sports Management from Kennesaw State University in 2008. I grew up an athlete and have always been in the gym or on some fitness venture at different points in my life. It wasn't until I found out what a profound impact nutrition has on our bodies that I changed my perspective and fully concentrated on the science behind what makes our mind and bodies work when it comes to what we put in it.
When I'm not helping others add value to their everyday lives through their health and nutrition, I enjoy being with my 16 year old daughter, Ryan, and watching her play highly competitive volleyball, keeping myself in shape, cooking and finding new ways to make unhealthy food, healthy and taste good, playing with my Great Dane, Cadence (Cade) and American pit-terrier mix, Gunner, and my cat, Beck, and being with my family and friends.
Over the past 7 years I have vowed to know and understand our bodies from a micro and macro standpoint. I have traveled the country working out and working with some of the best gym owners, nutritionist, athletes, herbal enthusiast, biochemist, naturalist and chiropractors. With the knowledge and hands on training that I've gathered through the years, along with being a competitive bodybuilder, I have been able to conceptualize a plan to help others become the healthiest versions of themselves. I specialize in working with clients who have medical issues, borderline medical issues, and issues where they need help finding a more natural solutions to health issues that are holding them back from achieving their weight loss goals. In the world we live in today, we consider everything the FDA approves, and whatever fad diet they are marketing is the bible. There's so much more than that.
From an athletic perspective, I enjoy working with young adults who are looking to take their fitness and sports to the next level. We don't have coaches in the high school age range that really understand nutrition and what these teenagers need to perform to succeed at their future goals. There are supplements out there that everyone is taking, but is it safe? It isn't until they reach college level that they are given meal plans and nutrition guidelines. But what if that started 3 to 4 years sooner? Think of the results that your athlete could be seeing now. If you have a serious athlete looking to go to the next level, keeping them playing and safe starts with their nutrition!!
